Being someone who normally likes to plan her own trips, not this time, I left it to a dear friend of mine Iryna to do so for me.
Meeting me at my new generation youth hostel hotel in the Navigli district we together hit her town. After passing the romantic canals and picturesque streets we continued our tour by tram.
The coaches on wheels used from the tourist to the office executive. Only getting off to stand for a wonderful cup of coffee, somewhere. When you start craving for something tasty to eat try some of the street food, it is the meal of choice for all. Located in various parts of the city, these food trucks will offer a wide range of great food, cute as well with the kindest of service. This alone is a more than enough reason to visit Milan, tasting what the street vendors have to offer.
My favorite area to explore was the Brera district, very bohemian, also known as the Milanes Montmartre. I had a morning of crisp air and bright blue skies, flower stalls, and a numerous number of the loveliest lunch locations to choose from.
A city famous for its fashion houses and styled elegance which you see in abundance on the Via Monte Napoleone there is also a prominent industrial look to Milano. The perfect mix I would say.
Must be off now, still need to climb to the top of the Duomo di Milano before dinner.
The main street of the fashion district with lovely courtyards.

If you love Emporio Armani this is a must visit area.
