Museum Voorlinden in Wassenaar is an ultra modern contemporary art gallery located in the private grounds of Joop van Caldenborgh.
Opened for a year now it houses his own private collection.
The walk from the car park to the museum on this sunny Sunday afternoon was nothing less than a joy. The grounds are immaculately kept and you pass the old family home, which is where drinks and snacks are served on the way to the museum.
Before entering the museum I was greatly impressed by the garden arrangement surrounding the building, an array of flowers and bushes beautifully put together. The architect claims that the flowers will bloom all year around.
Once inside I was overwhelmed by what was on show. Bigger is better was surly the motto.
I needed to return to one exhibit after the other to truly appreciate them.
If you have not already visited Museum Voorlinden I would say you most certainly should.
Oh and by the way, don't jump in the swimming pool.

Wearing my white modern tailoring cashmere top and skirt, leather jacket @Massimo Dutti, bag @Tods, together with the coolest shoes I own @Tabitha Simmons I just felt so contemporary.
