Mr Ripley!!

Well that's how it felt spending a week of yoga retreat in the Palermo area of northern Sicily.

You go back in time, things happen slowly there, people are kind, polite and have time for you.

A wonderful week of yoga and meditation mixed with beautifully prepared meals by our in house Sicilian dear housewives.

Confront youself with Sicilian craftsmanship I appreciate the huge variety and high quality of local artworks which recall and preserve the heritage of an ancient past. “sfilati” (the typical Sicilian embroidery), ceramics, paper mache, wrought iron, mosaics and pastry. Hand made baskets and juwellery will meet your senses in fashion heaven.

Sailing the beautiful coast or simply drinking coffee in fishing village yes I have done it all. On top of it I have practiced this journey with Yoga. My Yoga Guru the ultimate Yoga Instructor Iryna .

My uniform FOR THE DAY WAS PRETTY MUCH STANDARD, HUGE FLOPPY HAT, CAT SUNGLASSES, BASKET, ROMAN GLADIATOR SANDLES, ESPADRILLES AS BACK UP. SWIMMING COSSIE, WITH A WRAP FOR ON THE BOAT. My mid calf flowing skirts are compulsory.
